More Events

Well The River Runs Orange was launched with great fan fare on May 12 in Ottawa. Fellow author and friend, Mary Jane Maffini, who was launching her latest Charlotte Adam mystery, and I had a terrific time talking to our fans and signing lots of books. There have also been some changes and updates to my events calendar.

My day in Kingston has changed. On May 31 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm I'll be signing The River Runs Orange at Indigo, 259 Princess St. and later that day from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, I'll be at Chapters, 2376 Princess St. Yes, Princess is a very long street.... and almost seems like the only street in Kingston, but not really. It just happens to be the street with the most business establishments on it. I always enjoy my signings in Kingston. My husband Jim will be coming with me to do a bit of touring of the many historical sights of this old Upper Canada town.

Then the following week I'm off to Toronto to attend the Arthur Ellis dinner on June 5 and the Bloody Words conference on June 6 to 8. Just found out my panel. It's on Saturday at 4:30 pm and the topic is Small Press and Self-publishing: the pros and cons. It should be an interesting panel.

And while I'm in the Toronto area, I will be doing lots of signings.

And of course I'll be at Book Expo Canada - Sunday June 15 at 10:00 am, I'll be signing at the Crime Writers of Canada booth, then from 11:30 to 12:30, I'll be participating in a new event called Speed Dating and later that afternoon I will be signing at the Napoleon and Company booth.

As usual it is a very busy time of year. I hope to see you at one of these events and personally sign a book to you.
